November 2016

Here is our November update! A lot has happened this last month that we are excited to share! First of all, Matt got hired on with FORD MOTOR COMPANY! This is such a huge accomplishment and we are so excited and proud of him! This of course means that we have to move...to FLORIDA! By the first part of next year we will all be living near Miami. We are so very happy that it's someplace warm and fun!

Also this month we hosted our family for Thanksgiving. That was so much fun! We had Matt's parents come out, Jeff and Amy (with Ezra and Lucy), Sean, Brett and Nicole. It was a full house and we loved it! We had a delicious feast that everyone helped prepare. After dinner the siblings went out and did some shopping (without the kids...it was great)! Then on Friday the brothers and Cliff got up super early and helped us finish our garage (because we are selling the house we had some projects that needed finishing up and this was a huge one)! We are so grateful to them for their help! After that we all drove up to Frankenmuth and went to Bronner's Christmas Store. It was great! We all picked out our ornaments for the year. Then Brett, Nicole, Matt, Jeff, Cliff, and Leslie went to the Detroit Temple. Amy and I and our kiddos came home. On the way home I missed our exit to get on the freeway and of course ended up in downtown Detroit...just a little scary but the kids thought it was great! There were some pretty light displays but I was anxious to get us back on our way! Anyway, on Saturday it was time for everyone to go home. It was a few days of total fun that went by way too quick! We can't wait until our next visit all together...possible in July when Brett and Nicole get to be sealed together in the temple! We're super happy for them!

Right before Thanksgiving I had my last day at my job. It didn't last long but it was long enough! I've decided that being home is where I really want to be...even if it's boring sometimes! I am grateful that I have the privilege and opportunity to be home with my kids and available for them and for my sweet husband. It's not something that I will take for granted again that's for sure!

Matt had his first day at Ford Motor Company! He went to a brief meeting and then he was home! The best first day ever! I think he's really going to love his new job! Also, we found a rental house in Port St. Lucie Florida that we will be moving into sometime in December (or at least Matt will be). The rest of us (and our stuff) will come around the first part of the new year. Our house is up for sale and we are just getting things organized for another move! This time we have it pretty easy though (thanks to the great relocation package from Ford). We are super excited and really can't wait to have this fun adventure!

It was a presidential election year and I voted!

Our sweet friend Mirlene sent Alora this adorable socks and I was trying to get a picture of them...this is what I got!

Caleb making his best mad face at me.

Love these silly kiddos of mine!

Pickles jumped in on his own and went for a little ride! Silly cat!

This is how we found the parents a few times during their trip!

Alora did Lydia's hair for her. Pretty cute!

Her favorite snack...fruit snacks.

Alora worked so hard on this Presidential Profile project. She had to act as a wax figure and give a little speech when her 'button' was pushed. It was super cute!

Making some delicious rolls with Amy!

The best kitchen helpers!

Ready to work in the kitchen!

These rolls were the best! Thanks Amy!

Our Thanksgiving Feast!

And there's more!

Here is our family! We love them!
