June 2016

June was a great month for us! Here are some of the highlights:

Kids are out of school! Hurray! We survived driving to Monroe for the last two months and now summer break has officially begun! Emily graduated from Kindergarten and had a little program that was fun to watch. She is so excited to finally be 'in the numbers.' She is so funny! Alora will move on up to 4th grade and Caleb will go on into 3rd grade. I can't believe how quickly time goes by. They all did great in school this year and we're super proud of them! Not let the summer fun begin!


Matt and I were able to go to the NASCAR race (just the two of us)! It was so much fun! Matt won tickets through his work so we got the VIP treatment (free lunch and pit passes). Thanks to Jeff and Amy for coming up and watching our kiddos for us so we could do that. We had a great time and will definitely be going to another race again someday.

Emily turned 6 years old! She is a strong-willed, funny, smart, and sweet girl. Emily will tell you exactly what she thinks about things...good or bad! She is learning to read and really enjoys reading books to our family. She loves school and has lots of friends! We love her confidence and are so grateful to have her in our family! Happy 6th birthday, Emily! We love you!
