Hill Family: April/May 2016

I'm behind again on this blog (shocking, I know)! As I was looking through pictures trying to remind myself of what has been happening the last few months I realized that I don't think I took a single picture in April! There must not have been a lot of great things going on...or I was too busy putting our house together to pay attention!

Anyway, our life has been busy but good lately. School is almost out and we are so ready to be done with the drive from our new house to the old school (about 25 miles one way). We are definitely ready for a break and can't wait until summer arrives!

So May has been a good month for us! It started out with Grandma April coming for a quick visit over Mother's Day weekend. And she brought us our cat, Pickles. The kids didn't know she was bringing him so they were totally surprised! It was so great to spend time with her and we are grateful that she could come out and see us!

Then towards the end of the month we were able to go over to Brett and Nicole's house for Memorial Day weekend. They definitely know how to keep us entertained! We went to a zoo/wild animal park where we could feed the animals. It was so fun! My favorite part was feeding the giraffes. There were also kangaroos, camels, deer, and lots of other animals. We loved it! We also got to ride the four-wheeler, play in the water, and just spend time with each other. It was a fun weekend and we are so grateful that we live close enough to have these fun trips!
