Craziness, again!!

Warning: Lots of writing!

Yesterday was another crazy day!! I had a lot to get done, and just needed the kids to cooperate, but do you think that happened? Ha! I had three stores that I had to go to: Dollar Tree, Target, and Wal-Mart. Not bad, right? Especially in the morning it shouldn't be too busy. Yeah right! Dollar Tree was the worst, and of course that's where the kids were acting so grouchy! It was getting close to Caleb's naptime and he was just not having any of it! Alora only threw fits in the dollar store when she couldn't have something she wanted. Other than that, she was really well behaved, but Caleb was hungry and tired and so throughout Target and Wal-Mart I just stuffed him full of cheerios and tried to keep him entertained long enough to get through the store. Well, we finally got home (with Caleb sleeping the whole way), but the chaos didn't stop there! I fed the kids lunch, and then put Caleb down for his afternoon nap. I let Alora stay up with me and play outside while I vacuumed out the car and switched car seats around. That didn't take very long, but it was still a process! Well, I finally put Alora down for a nap and got to have some lunch (at about 2:00) and just watched tv for about an hour. It was a much needed break! If only I had known was was to come!


Later that afternoon the kids both woke up just so grouchy! I fed them a snack, then had to start thinking about dinner. Well, while the meat was defrosting, I was folding laundry, Alora was in her princess panties and went pee on my couch! So I change her panties and then get some soap and water to clean the couch and leave the room to do something and Caleb dumps the cup full of water all over the floor. Well, I'm cleaning that up and then realize that the pan is heating up and I need to prepare dinner. Well, dinner finally gets made and then it's time to clean it up. So while I'm doing that Alora pooped in her panties. I'm cleaning that up and then have to go find Caleb, who thankfully this time isn't doing anything, and then finish cleaning up dinner and folding the laundry, and changing sheets on the guest bed, and then Alora pees in her panties again and then Matt finally gets home! Where does he find me? Passed out (almost) on the guest bed with the kids and dog playing around me. It was an exhausting day! And it wasn't over yet. We went for a nice walk and then came home, put the kids to bed and got to catch up on some tv together. Well, Alora then woke up about every 2 hours needing a tissue or some absurd thing like that. It was awful! Aren't kids supposed to be sleeping through the night by now??

A great thing that did happen in all of that is that Alora went poop in the potty! Hurray! It was kind of luck because I just happened to find her as she was telling me she was poopy, so I rushed her into the bathroom and she went! Yay! This all happened somewhere in between folding the laundry, making dinner, and passing out!

Today is going to be just as crazy, so wish me luck! I'm just looking forward to nap time! Here are some cute pictures from yesterday before the chaos began! They are so funny! Thank goodness for pictures and times like this, it makes everything worth it! Gotta love 'em!!
