Happy Birthday, Caleb!!

He made it to one year old! Hurray!

The reason I say that is because yesterday we went to the doctor's office not once, but twice. Caleb and Alora both woke up with snotty noses and then Caleb started tugging at his ear, so I thought he had an ear infection. I scheduled an appointment to see our doctor and thankfully (I guess) it's just a cold. Well, on the way into the doctor's office, Alora scraped her foot on something and got a huge gash. At first the nurse thought she might need stitches, but the doctor said that a band-aid would be sufficient. Whew! Well, the rest of the day went smoothly and wasn't quite so chaotic, but then it can't stay that way for long! My best friend from high school arrived yesterday afternoon (hurray!) and while we were outside getting stuff from her car, Caleb came crawling out and rolled down the front steps of our house, hitting his head on the concrete. Well, let's go to urgent care! Thankfully, he checked out just fine, but what a scare!


We are so blessed to have Caleb in our lives. He is so dramatic at times, but what is life without a little drama? He is happy and easy-going and loves to have his picture taken. He is finally starting to sleep through the night (yay!) and we just love him even more for it! He loves his big sister and they play really well together (most of the time). We are so happy to be celebrating his first birthday and can't wait to see what adventures the next year brings us! Happy Birthday, Caleb! We love you!!
