Well, it's the time of year that the leaves are falling off the trees, it's getting cold (really cold) and it's time to break out the carving knives for those pumpkins! We spent Monday night carving our pumpkins and had a blast! This will be Alora's third Halloween, but it's the first time we've carved pumpkins! I can't believe we have denied her that experience. No childhood can be complete until you've sunk your hands into the slimy insides of Mr. Jack O' Lantern. She had a lot of fun helping us scoop out the seeds and even decided that they needed to go back into the pumpkin. Caleb was so tired, he missed out on everything, but there's always next year! Here are the pictures from this great experience. Alora & Caleb did the traditional "Jack" and Matt and I carved "Boo" into our pumpkin. (Actually, Matt did all the carving. Thanks Babe!) Hope you all are having fun with your pumpkins! We should have a blogging pumpkin carving contest and vote! Anyway, good luck and enjoy!
