October was a fun and busy month! We started the month (as we usually do) by celebrating Alora's birthday. She turned 9 years old this year! I am so proud of what a lovely young lady she is becoming. She is smart, funny, beautiful, full of love for others, and just a joy to have in our family. We were lucky enough this year to have Grandma April come and visit us and spend that special day with Alora. For dinner Alora requested we go to Texas Roadhouse (mainly so they could sing to her). I think she had a pretty awesome day!
We really enjoyed having Grandma April spend a whole week with us! We didn't do a lot but it was nice to have her with us! We definitely miss our family and appreciate what time we can spend together!
Caleb was just classified at school as being on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. That doesn't really surprise us and we feel like that's an accurate diagnosis. We know that more resources will be made available to him and we know that he can continue to progress! We love Caleb and are so very proud of him for all of his achievements! We know he is a special spirit and will continue to help him overcome these obstacles. He is so smart and is especially fantastic at reading and continues to make major improvements in math. We are so grateful for all of the teachers and staff that have taken an interest in Caleb and teach him everyday!
Alora and Emily love going to school and learning. They are each doing well in their classes and are making friends every day. We are so proud of them and how smart they are!
Lydia is starting to talk. She says "hi" and "buhby" and entertains us everyday!
Here is our month of October:
