July 2015

July was a fun month for us! We weren't packing, driving, or unpacking! We spent the month finding fun things to do in this new place we're at and getting to know new friends! A few of the highlights of the month include Lydia learning to walk (at 10 1/2 months)! She wants to keep up with her brother and sisters...so she is up on two feet now! I was given a calling as primary secretary so that's something fun and different for me that I'm excited about.

We are still trying to get adjusted to the different way of life here, and I think we're doing a pretty good job! We are grateful for the new friends we have made and definitely know we are blessed to be here together and have so much time together as a family. I read a quote from President Boyd K. Packer that said "sometimes in my growing years I thought we were poor...I later learned that that was not true. We just didn't have any money. We were always rich in the things most significant in our lives." I know that I needed to read that quote. I am grateful to have this time with my husband and kids that we can spend some quality time together and build a strong foundation for our family because that really is what matters the most...not the house, the cars, the vacations or the bank accounts. Those are all distractions and I know they were distracting me! Anyway, here are some pictures of the fun and crazy times we're sharing together! I love this family of mine!
