Hill Family: Disneyland!

After years of savings and patiently waiting, we finally surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland! We bought them each a blanket that had some of their favorite characters on it and then had their names embroidered on them. They were able to open those presents and then we told them that we were going to Disneyland! Alora was the most excited, but the other two understood enough that this was going to be awesome! Caleb just wanted to meet Jake from the tv show "Jake and the Neverland Pirates," and Emily just wanted to meet Minnie Mouse. We left for Disneyland on Saturday, the 14th and we ended up coming back late on Tuesday, the 17th. We were able to visit Disneyland and California Adventure (a couple times) and ride all the rides we wanted to and see almost everyone that we wanted to see. We weren't able to visit many princesses, so hopefully next time more will be available. We were able to swim at the hotel, and the kids loved that! The first night sleep was hard for everyone, but after that we were all pretty exhausted that sleeping came easier. The kids were really well behaved and I'm just grateful we didn't lose anyone! Matt had a fun time, too, for his first visit and we are looking forward to our next trip (in about 5 years)! I will let the pictures do most of the talking, now.
