September was spent getting into our routine with school and enjoying some of the beautiful fall weather and colors. We live in a beautiful place with lovely views of the mountains around us. We are starting to feel more settled and are content with our lives here. Well...here's an update on everyone:
Alora is learning how to read and loves it (which makes me very happy). She is a wonderful student and loves her teacher and learning. She will come home and teach her stuffed animals the things that she has learned at school (it's so cute)! She has such a wonderful imagination and can play for hours. She has lots of friends and is such a fun girl to have around.
Caleb has done really well at school. We've had a hard time getting him to do his homework, but we created a system that really seems to be working for him! After he finishes his homework he can pick a prize out of the "prize bowl" and that has really helped to motivate him. He is learning his letters and sounds and gets so excited to come home and tell me about what he's learned. We're so proud of him and his hard work!
Emily is a big girl now! We spent a weekend (and a few days more) potty training her and she has done awesome! She is so proud of her great accomplishment and that she gets to wear Minnie Mouse panties. I can't believe that our baby is potty trained! This is the first time almost since we've been married that we don't have a kid in diapers! Weird! We're so excited to see her learn and grow. She wants to go to school so bad and can't wait to be able to do all the things she sees her brother and sister do. In the meantime, she stays home with me and we enjoy a little quiet time while the other two are at school.
Life is good and we are looking forward to more fun times ahead. Here are some pictures of how we spend our days!
