July 2012

July was spent mostly doing things locally. We also stayed home a lot.

For the Fourth of July this year we went to Pineview Reservoir which is only about 20 minutes from our house. It was our first time there and we had so much fun! There were beautiful sandy beaches and the water felt great! Dad brought his boat and Brian and his girlfriend came. We spent most of the day either in the boat or playing on the beach in the water. Later on that afternoon we went back to Dad's house for a bbq. It was great to visit with family and just relax! The kids had so much fun! I'm so glad that we have such wonderful things to do so close.

We also went to the Ogden Rodeo. We weren't sure how everyone would do, but they all had a great time! It was a great rodeo! The stock there was awesome! Caleb kind of had a hard time with the loud noise, but he eventually got used to it. We will definitely be going again next year. While we were walking to the arena Caleb saw a horse and the owner let each of the kids take a turn sitting on it. The kids loved that!
