We're going to the Zoo!

Matt had an extra day off before he started his new job, so we took advantage of it (and the nice weather) and went to the Hogle Zoo! Now, I have to admit I was a little nervous because of our last trip to the zoo, but excited because the kids are older and it was Emily's first time! So we packed a lunch and the camera and headed off! When we got there it was about lunch time so we sat down and ate our sandwiches and then we were ready to walk around.

There were dinosaurs on display (mechanical ones of course) and Caleb absolutely loved them! He was so excited and well behaved this trip. He would get in the stoller when it was time to walk and then got out and looked at the animals. We saw elephants, tigers, giraffes, birds, and rhinos. After walking around and looking at all the animals, we went on the train. I think this was the kids' favorite part.

We had a great time and I know the kids will love it even more next time!
