A Surprise for Me!!

A couple of months ago I was talking with some friends and we got on the topic of baby showers. I told them that I had never had one before. They were shocked! I'm getting ready to have baby #3 and have never had a baby shower! So, my friend called Matt and arranged for him to go over to her house to look at their car. He's always helping people out like that, so I didn't think anything of it, but he was insistent that I come along and our kids can have a playdate. Okay.

I get to Caley's house and see quite a few cars parked there, but still didn't think anything of it. I walk in the door and all of a sudden my friends come out screaming "surprise!" It was a baby shower for me!! I was SHOCKED! I absolutely had no idea that they were planning that. Matt did a great job getting me over to her house without me having a clue!

It was so much fun to be there with my friends. We played games, shared some great laughs, ate good food, opened some great gifts, and had a wonderful time! I am so grateful to have met such wonderful people and to have such great friends. It is hard not having family very close, but when you can have good friends they become like your family. Thanks everyone for a fun time and a fantastic surprise!!
