This post is all about Alora! It's not that we don't love our son, but nothing exciting has happened with him (or his room) lately, so we have focused on Alora for now. Anyway, on Sunday night Alora went and stayed with Grandma April and Shayla and didn't get home until Tuesday afternoon. It was weird not having her here, but at the same time, so easy with just one child!
Matt and I decided before she left that we were going to paint her room and surprise her. So, we finally did it! Yay! We went to Walmart to get all the supplies, found the colors we liked immediately, and then got to work! It really didn't take very long and it turned out so well! We aren't completely done with her room yet. We still want to put on new closet doors, and add a ceiling fan and chair rail, but what a huge improvement! It's now a cute girl's room instead of plain white walls!
Another exciting event in Alora's life is that she finally got her first haircut! I know, I know! She's 3 1/2 years old, but with a girl, you can just let it grow, right? Anyway, it was looking really bad on the ends, so it was time for a trim! We took off about 4 inches. (Thanks Grandma April)! It is still long and beautiful, but healthy now. She is such a beautiful girl!
