Oh, how I miss....

The days when I could just jump in the car and go somewhere. Yesterday our computer stopped working (it's fine now), so I needed to go to the computer repair place. It was close to lunch time, so I knew Matt would be home soon, but I was just going to drop it off and then be home. It was really only going to take me like 15 minutes. So I go to get Alora dressed and she has yogurt in her hair and on her neck. Well, that wasn't too bad. I was just going to put her in the tub really fast and then get Caleb dressed and go. Well, Caleb came in wanting to get into the tub. Okay, fine. Hurry up. I take off his diaper and then set him on my lap to take off his shoes. Next thing I know he pooped on my leg on my clean jeans (which at this point I only have one pair of). I was so mad! All I wanted to do was run one short errand! The kids weren't even going to get out of the car!

Well, then I have to get the kids out of the tub (where Caleb had finished doing his business), clean it, put Alora back in, change my pants, and then call Matt. I told him please come home now before I completely lose it!! He stayed home with the kids while I went to the computer place alone. I was probably gone 10 minutes.

Well, that afternoon I put them in quiet time/nap time and then I took a nap myself. I was exhausted! I don't even want to know what it will be like with 3 kids. I probably won't go anywhere unless Matt is with me. Oh well. Someday I'll look back and laugh and miss this right?
Hmmm, maybe not.

Sure, you will laugh! Unless you totally lose your sense of humor. It's funny (to me) watching you be a mom. Thank you.

Love,
Your mom

You are scaring me, I cant even get anything done just by myself lately I will totally lose it when I have kids. You better come save me when that day happens. You need to bring yourself and your kids and come up this way and I will watch them if you want a day to yourself sometime. Let me know.

My niece is staying w/ us and she's the same age as mine. So some days, most of those days, I'm feeling your pain. Thank goodness for nap time!

You took the words right out of my mouth!! :) Going anywhere is a JOKE! I ws hoping it would get better once the baby got older, but reading your post makes me think I might be wrong. Please don't tell me it doesn't get easier. I'll be crushed. :)
