Hurricane Irma 2017. We got the house all shuttered! 

We had to bring in all of the outdoor items. Our garage was so full!

We got plenty of water!

There's the rental house all ready for the hurricane!

And now we just sit around and wait for Irma to show up

This was our view from inside the house. We left one shutter off so we could watch and see what Irma was going to do.

Alora made doll beds. We had plenty of time to be creative!

We all camped out in the family room. It really wasn't too bad until the power went out. Then it got really dark and really hot. Thankfully our power was only our for about 24 hours.

There were a lot of tornado warnings so we had to get into the safe room which was a little closet. Pretty much the kids fit and we were in the doorway. Overall it was a crazy few days but we were spared any major damage. We survived our first hurricane!

The power went out so the electronics were gone. Time for board games!

After Hurricane Irma had passed we decided a beach day would be a good way to get out and have some fun!

Emily lost a tooth!

The tooth fairy was kind enough to leave her a nice note!
