March was a great month for us! It's so much fun to see the kids growing up and this time of year is especially great because it's spring time! We love being able to get outside and see all the flowers blooming and feel the warm sun and ride bikes and all that fun stuff!
March is also a fun month for us because we get to celebrate Caleb's birthday! This year our boy turned 7 years old! We are so proud of our only boy and all the things he continues to learn. This year he learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. He loves riding his bike and now I think he loves it even more! We had all these great plans for his birthday but as is our life lately he woke up on his birthday with a stomach bug so we just stayed home instead. He was quarantined in the bathroom with his new movie and didn't even get to blow the candles out on his cake because we didn't want to spread the germs. Oh well, he still got to open his presents and got some fun stuff, so I guess it turned out to be an okay day for him. We love our son so much and are so proud of all that he has accomplished and overcome in his life. He continues to amaze us and we can't wait to see all that he does this next year. Love you, Caleb!
In other news this month:
Matt was able to go out to Nebraska for 8 days and do some side work. He was really busy out there and we were busy here without him. The week went by pretty fast without him here until I got the stomach bug on the Friday before he got home. I'm grateful that my mom could come and help me and take the kids so I could rest and I was even more grateful when he got home Saturday night. We really missed him and we were all so excited to have him home!
We went and got to visit with my grandparents and then later in the month we got a surprise visit from Matt's grandparents. We enjoy visiting with our family and are grateful that our children are getting to know their great-grandparents.
I was able to go to Caleb's school and help with a special activity. He didn't know I was coming and was definitely surprised to see me there! I love being able to go and volunteer with my kids in their schools and see how much they are learning. They are all so smart and it's so fun to spend that special time with them.
