So, apparently I can only get on here and update the blog once a month! Oh well, it's better than nothing, I guess! Anyway, it's still winter time which means not a whole lot is going on. We pretty much stay home everyday. Sometimes the weather is nice enough that we go for a walk, but even though it's been sunny, it's still freezing cold! We are getting very anxious for summer! Anyway, here is the update for the family...
Matt- still working hard for us! He is going to a couple of training classes this month, one of which is in Denver! That's going to be an interesting week! He has also been spending his "free time" working on our basement. He's doing such a good job! This last weekend he sold our Dodge Intrepid. It's a flip that we bought last May and he's "fixed" it twice, but it still has problems! So, we just got rid of it for what we had into it! He's definitely relieved to have it gone! We are grateful that things are staying busy for him!
Jeri-staying home with the kiddos. I've been trying to get into shape (it's a constant battle), so I've been spending time with the treadmill. I definitely feel better, but not sure it's making a difference. I also just got a new calling on the Relief Society Committee helping plan the monthly activities. We'll see how that goes!!
Alora- has a wonderful imagination! She can sit and play for hours and it's very entertaining! I love to just listen to her play! She's also learning lots in preschool. She knows almost all of her letters and is able to write several of them. She is very smart! She recently had her first visit to the dentist and has lots of cavities! Poor girl got her mommy's teeth! So in August they will take her to the surgical center and knock her out and fill them all at once. She's such a great helper and says the funniest things sometimes!
Caleb-is very smart! He is improving so much with his language and behavior. He was recently tested for his language and is at an 18 month old level which is about twice where he was at when we started the early intervention program. So, he's catching up quickly! He loves to try to figure out how things work and loves Toy Story! He is pointing and labeling things and is constantly telling us things (a lot of which we can understand)! He just had his first dentist visit today and has no cavities! Hurray! He is a sweet boy and will be turning 3 and starting preschool soon!
Emily-is such a happy baby! She just loves to watch what's going on and wants so badly to be involved with everything! She can't wait to be able to play with her siblings! She is almost 8 months old and sits up all by herself. She can also scoot backwards on her belly and can also scoot on her bum. She loves food and is wanting more "big people" food and less of the baby food. She is such an easy going baby and so happy!
We are all healthy and happy. We are looking forward to camping trips, finishing our basement, and being able to go for walks together. For now, we just play games and watch movies and try to find fun things to do together!

Cute cute family! I can't wait for nicer weather to come too--we're getting sick of being cooped up inside! You'll have to post pictures of Matt's skills in the basement when it's finished :)
It's good to hear about your family...your kiddos are getting so big! We agree, winter needs to be done so we can play outside again!
Wow, this is embarrasing...We didn't even know you had 3 children! Your newest addition is a darling little thing just like your other two. Clearly it's been way too long...I hope we catch up agian someday :)
