A Precious Moment...

Matt and I had just put the kids to bed and were playing a game of cards (which I was losing, shocking, I know) when Alora came out of her room and asked Matt to give her a priesthood blessing. It was so precious! She said that she was sick (she has a cold) and that she needed a blessing. I teared up a little, I'll admit it! I'm so grateful that she knows that she can be healed through the power of the priesthood. I'm grateful for my husband who is worthy to give her a blessing at any moment. I am so grateful that we have the Gospel in our lives and that we are teaching our children to have faith in our Savior. Sometimes I wonder if it's getting through, but it's times like this that show me that they are learning and applying those teachings. Thanks for your example, Alora! Love you!
