This year we had a lot of fun shopping and preparing for Christmas. Okay, maybe not a lot of fun preparing for it, but when Christmas morning came, we were all excited.
This year my dad and brother decided to come and spend Christmas with us. We were excited to have family with us to celebrate. Matt was able to get off work in time for their arrival, and I'm glad he did. When Dad and Brian showed up they had this behind the truck:
a CAMP TRAILER! Oh my goodness! We were in shock! We couldn't believe it! It's got bunk beds in the back and a queen bed in the front. We are so excited to go camping and make memories with this trailer. Thanks Dad!
Our family members were very generous this year. We got so much I'm not going to even try to name it all, but some items include: movies, pajamas, tool money, toys, clothes, cookies sheets, money, a beautiful photo album of my childhood, coin counter, gift cards, food storage, and more toys! Whew! We were given so much! We are so grateful for all of our family and friends that were so thoughtful and generous this year. Thank you! Thank you!
Anyway, on Christmas Eve we had a dinner, went and looked at Christmas lights, watched movies, wrapped presents and then finally went to bed. On Christmas morning we woke up at about 7:00 and had breakfast and then it was present time!
"Santa" brought Alora a dollhouse and Caleb a tool bench. Their favorite toys that they played with most of the day, however, were the Jesse, Buzz, and Woody action figures we got them on Black Friday. They love them! We are so glad because we practically risked our lives for them!
It was a memorable and fun Christmas. We are so grateful for this time of year to remember the birth of our Savior. We are grateful for the opportunity to spend it with family. We are grateful for the Gospel and all that we have been blessed with. We love you all! Merry Christmas!
Helping set the table for dinner. Silly boy!
Switching it up! Playing with each other's gifts
