Well, it's been awhile since I've posted last. Mostly because nothing really exciting is happening in our lives. We have been forced inside for most of the last couple of weeks because it's been cold and snowing. I'm shocked at how much snow we have gotten here! From what I understand, this is not a typical winter (thankfully)! We definitely have more snow than Idaho, which is ironic considering we left there with hopes of having a milder winter down here! Oh well, we are just grateful for the snowblower!
Alora and Caleb are still getting into everything and having fun at it! I wish I could say the same! I went through their toys the other day and put 3 trash bags of toys away! I couldn't believe how much stuff they have! It was overwhelming! So now we're down to a few of their favorites and we'll rotate through them every season or as necessary. Caleb loves watching Wonka (the old one) and tries to sing the oompa loompa song. It's cute! Alora is getting more independent and headstrong each day it seems! They are both happy and healthy!
Matt has been super busy with work. We are so grateful that things have picked up! He was actually able to bonus last paycheck, which was awesome! He felt really accomplished!
I'm just home with the kids trying to keep up with them and the laundry and dishes and everything else! Let's just say some days are better than others! I love being home with my kids and am grateful that my husband encourages me to be home with them. I have started feeling our little baby move which definitely eases some worries! We will find out tomorrow the gender (if it cooperates)! I'm still 80% sure it's a girl, but we'll be happy with a boy, too! Alora keeps saying she's having a baby brother, so we'll find out who's right!
Other than that, we are just anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring so we can play outside in the warm sun! We are happy and healthy and grateful for all we have!
