Well, it has been a crazy day! It started off just fine. We all got up, Matt went to work, and then the kids and I started to clean up breakfast. I had asked Matt earlier if the dishes in the dishwasher were clean, his reply was "yes, you have the best husband in the world." So, I start to unload them and I'm looking at the cups thinking, these don't look that clean. Then I get to the silverware and there's grease on the pizza cutter and food on the knives. So then I look at the soap dispenser and it's still full!! He had put the soap in, but then forgot to start it last night. So then I have to put back the few dishes I had put away. Ugh!
Well, then of course the kids start fighting over something. They are screaming, I'm trying to pay bills and it's just chaos! So, I get Alora distracted upstairs with a movie and Caleb playing with some toys and I finish paying the bills. Well, it was right about this time that Alora came down with her little bag of goldfish crackers and dumps them in my lap. So, I do the responsible thing and call for Lucky to come and clean it up! I bring him over to the couch and point to the mess and he starts to pee on my couch!! Ugh!
Well, I clean up that mess and then it's time for lunch. Whew! That's a good sign because that means naptime is getting closer! We all eat lunch, take Matt his lunch at work because he's too busy to come home and eat and then it's naptime! Yay!! I put Caleb down, then lock Alora in her room because she won't stay in there like I've told her to several times and then I drag myself upstairs for some much needed peace and tv. But that's too much to ask!! I walk into the room and find toilet paper everywhere!! There were about 8 rolls of toilet paper that needed put away in our bathroom, now there is only 6! Alora had locked Lucky in our room earlier in the day and he had chewed and destroyed 2 rolls of toilet paper! So, I cleaned up that lovely mess and I was done!
Well, then Alora comes into my room a couple hours later (she never did go to sleep because I could hear her banging around in her room) wanting a banana and then I hear Caleb crying. I open his door and woohee!! He was in desperate need of a bum change! It was nasty!! I will spare everyone the details, but it was straight to the tub for that kid! And that is where they are now. Flooding my bathroom, I'm sure. Oh what a day!! And people wonder what stay at home moms do all day!!!

Wow! Sounds like a crazy day! Glad you survived!
On those days I have to keep telling myself, "I LOVE MY KIDS! I LOVE MY KIDS! I LOVE MY KIDS!" Then I take a little "ME" time while they play downstairs. Sheesh! Good thing EVERY day isn't like that, huh?! :) Just wait 'til they're in school. It's nice!
What a day! It cracks me up to read about it later though. Little stinks!!!!
