What a wonderful day! We woke up at about 7:00am and waited for the kids to get up. Caleb was up first and then we went in and got Alora. We brought them out into the living room and Caleb was already throwing a fit (because he wanted his sippie) and Alora was still half asleep, so we didn't get the totally excited reaction we had hoped for, but that's okay. Santa brought them each a stocking full of candy and toys and the big gift, a train table.
We opened up gifts and were very excited to have received so much. Our families were very generous this year! Below is a list of what each of us received.
Alora- Princess book. Princess play tent, Princess dress up clothes with trunk, board games, Princess crown, beautiful dress (for church), a baby doll, Barbie DVD, and personalized Princess dishes
Caleb- HUGE Tonka truck, tool bench, books, train DVD, clothes, toothbrushes (he loves them), dump truck that makes noise, hot wheels car set

Jeri- T-shirt (Matt had it specially made for me. It's an exact replica of my favorite t-shirt that used to be his, but I've adopted it. It has holes all over it and is very worn out), a couple of blenders, pots and pans set, slippers, money
Matt- skil saw, floppy head ratchet (for work), flannel jacket, flashlight, card table with chairs, money
The crazy part is we aren't done yet! Tomorrow we are going to my grandparents' house and my mom's house and then Matt and I still have birthday presents! Whew! This time of year is a lot of fun for us, but it's exhausting! We are so very blessed and grateful to everyone for all of their thoughtfulness and generosity.
Merry Christmas! Love you all!
