It's been a sad couple of days. We think Lucky was stolen from the camp trailer. We let him out to go potty, and then never saw him again. He has never run off, and none of the neighbors have seen him. We are still hoping that he'll come back, but know that he's most likely gone. We are really sad and miss him tons. I just hope that whoever has him takes good care of him.
Before he "left" we were talking about getting him a friend. Well, now it will be our new puppy. I called the lady we got Lucky from (she breeds rat terriers) to see if she had any new puppies, and guess what? She is trying to get rid of the last two puppies from her current litter. Not only will we be getting a new puppy, it's Lucky's full brother (just from a different litter)! I haven't seen him yet, but he is white and tan, just like Lucky, but a little taller. We are so excited! We will be picking him up next weekend. It's kind of bittersweet. I know that this dog will be awesome, but no dog can replace Lucky. We have to start completely over with the potty training, shots, neutering... but hopefully it will all go smoothly. Well, we'll post pictures of our new dog as soon as we get him!
