Oregon!!

Well, just this last weekend we went to Joseph, Oregon for Chief Joseph Days. It's a little celebration that this town has every year to celebrate the indian chief, Joseph. They have a parade, rodeo, and various booths set up. There's also a lake that people swim on and fish. It's a lot of fun. It's an 8-9 hour drive and the kids did great! Alora watched a few movies and Caleb mostly slept. We stayed with my grandparents in their cabin (thanks Grandma & Grandpa!) and had a great time visiting with them. It was also nice to just relax and not worry about work, or fixing the house or anything like that. On Friday night we went to the rodeo. It was a little challenging at first with the kids, but they eventually got into it (well Alora did) and had a good time. The only thing that happened was that Alora dropped her binkie underneath the bleachers. Let's just say it's a good thing we brought two! On Saturday my grandpa took us out on his new boat. It was Alora's first boat ride and she loved it. It was also Caleb's first boat ride, but he just slept right through it! Later on we went miniature golfing and Matt beat me. That's okay though, there's always next year! Anyway, we had a wonderful time and look forward to our next visit. Here are a few pics of our trip!!
