It has been awhile since I've posted anything because life has been so busy! Let me fill you in on what has been going on around here. First, Caleb is now almost 6 weeks old! He went to the doctor on Monday and weighs 10 lbs. He is starting to be awake more and is a really calm baby. He went to church for the first time a couple of weeks ago and pretty much slept through the whole thing (it was great)! Alora was weighed at the doctor's office also and she weighs 23 lbs. Our kids are growing right up!
My dad and stepmom, Kathy, came to town and we went and fed the ducks at the Greenbelt in Idaho Falls. It was Alora's first time feeding the ducks. It was funny because we would give her some bread to throw to them and she would eat it herself. It was really cute! We had a good time.
Next, we got a new car! Actually, it's an SUV. We traded in our van for a 1999 Ford Expedition. We loved our van, but didn't want a car payment anymore, so we traded it in. Thankfully Matt works for a dealership, so we get awesome deals on cars and can afford to do this. We really love our new Expedition and are excited to have more room! Believe it or not the Expedition is roomier than our van and it can seat one more extra person. Hooray!
And now for the BIG news: we bought a house! Matt and I have been house hunting since we were first married, but we have gotten serious about it the past couple of months. We found a house in Rigby that we love. It is next to the elementary school and in a quiet neighborhood. It has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and is 2100 sq. feet. There is a single car garage and a basement that is half finished. It is on a corner lot, so we only have neighbors on one side of us. For those who don't know, Rigby is in between Idaho Falls and Rexburg, the two places we spend a lot of time at. We got Matt a little car that he can drive to work, so now our driving times will be cut in 1/2. We are really sad to leave our friends here in Rexburg. It's too bad we can't take all of you with us, but we all have to move on at some point and now is our time. But don't worry, we'll be around to visit and you can always come down and we'll have a BBQ in our very own backyard!
Well, that's all that is going on here. We will be moving in about a month and then after that things should start calming down (hopefully).

Yeah! I'm glad you found me. I'm not sure about this whole growing up, buying houses, having kids, adult-type things we are doing. Crazy! And it still throws me that your hubby has the same name as my brother. Your kids are darling.
Awwww.......so sad you're leaving!! But how exciting to be moving into your very own house. Get the kiddie pool set up ASAP.....we'll be there EVERYDAY!! Don't think for one minute you'll be getting rid of us! :o)
PS....do you think Caleb could talk to Billy Bob about being a good baby too? And yes, we have truly decided on Billy Bob!!

Am I the only person that thinks Jerolyn is a jerk for leaving? I mean Stef and I are lifers here and I think everyone else should be too! Just kidding friend! I am way excited for you! New cars are fun! Houses are fun too! I am excited for you to be able to leave this life style we are all leading! I can't wait until the next 100 years are over with and Cory and I can move on too!

So fun! Congratulations, you guys!! A new baby, a new car, and a new house! Holy cow!! All three are adorable! Wow--lots of new things for you all. Reigby will be a fun place to live. We're so happy for you. Oddly enough, we just bought a house this week, too! Good luck with your move. We miss you guys!!
